Our Story

Selena was started in 2012, it was a little home-based shop in Italy and was fully migrated to Indonesia in 2017 due to the best local hand made jewelry.  Selena has turned fine jewelry into an everyday occasion while working towards making a positive impact in our communities, and in addition to our good fashion clothing design.

 

By 2020, we're forced to stop and close the store due to the pandemic. It's really hard for us to let go because we already built the best way and the future of the brand and our member's connections. The shipping restriction forced us to fully stop. 


In 2023, we are slowly recovering and improving more. That’s why we work with trusted suppliers across the globe and ensure the supply can handle no matter what ---- using high-quality, responsibly sourced materials to create pieces meant to last a lifetime; that feel like you being part of the family. 


 

 

Sustainability

Sustainability requires an ongoing commitment. Currently, our work centers on three main areas of sustainability: people, planet, and product. We’re committed to improving our practices and tracking our progress through our annual sustainability report.

Designs

We are increasing our positive impact on people and the planet through how we design our jewelry, where we source our materials, and how we operate our business.

Each week, we release new products, designed in-house, in limited quantities and only manufacture more based on consumer demand. This allows us to curate fresh products while keeping our production less wasteful.


People

The people behind our pieces extend beyond our incredible partners and trusted supplier network to our incredible employees around the world.

Over the years, we’ve grown from a small team working out of Italy - Indonesia to a global brand with over 250 employees across our headquarters. We’re proud to share that 89% of our team identify as women. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT!

Hand -made

  • The jewelery industry is historically opaque, but we're on a mission to change that. Our transparency programme, Product Passport, lets you trace everything from design and material sourcing to craftsmanship and packaging. Tracing our supply chains enables us to improve our social and environmental impact, and allows you to make informed choices.

  • Responsible and sustainable production is at the core of what we do. We exclusively use 100% recycled gold plating and sterling silver plating colors, as well as 100% recyclable packaging and reusable pouches. With a key focus on circularity, we're proud to offer a 1 -year warranty, lifetime repairs service, and jewelery recycling scheme.

Beauty is eternal. It is captured in the way you feel and in the way you look. It is timeless. Every generation needs to feel beautiful. Some things don’t change. Some things should not change.
